Cal Major Completes Her Paddle in Aid of Paddle Against Plastic 2016

Day 20 – we made it to Croyde!!!!! 260 miles done! With another bag of plastic bottles, burning muscles, smiles and such gratitude for the incredible adventure, huge learning curve, respect for the ocean and humbling journey we have had the fortune of experiencing. Thank you so much to all of you wonderful people we have met and been supported by along the way. Thank you the hardcore people who paddled the last leg with us and to @surfdome for the amazing welcome into Croyde beach! Big thanks to @starboardsupuk @palmequipment @finisterreuk without who’s support with kit we would have been so stuck, and to @paddlelogger and @supboardermag for supporting our journey along the way. Thanks also to @surfersagainstsewage for your amazing work and for inspiring me to engage more people in the messages and campaigns you deliver. So touched by all the people we have engaged along the way, thank you all, and hopefully we’ve spread some positivity and empowered people to help our oceans. Finally, thank you to my lovely and wonderful friends and family, without whose support I couldn’t have done this. Particularly thank you to @jackjstevenson who has been amazing, by my side encouraging me the whole 260 miles, and without whom I’d probably still be sitting on a beach trying to work out tide times. And last of all… Thank you to everyone who has used a reusable bottle! Keep it up!! ‪#‎paddleagainstplastic‬ ‪#‎oceanoptimism‬ ‪#‎oneless‬ ‪#‎refusesingleuse‬ ‪#‎recycle‬ ‪#‎marinelitter‬ ‪#‎SUP‬ ‪#‎supeurope‬ ‪#‎absofsteel‬ ‪#‎supboarderpotd‬
