The Canaries have become a popular training destination for many of the world’s best slalom sailors with training camps currently being held in Tenerife and Lanzarote with their trade winds and range of water conditions making it an ideal place to prepare for the coming season - which kicks off in May.
Recently in Tenerife the likes of Pierre Mortefon (Fanatic / NorthSails), Jordy Vonk (Fanatic / NorthSails), Marco Lang (Fanatic / NorthSails) and Gunnar Asmussen (Starboard / Severne) scored a epic session as winds of 50 knots hit El Medano.
