The American Windsurfing Tour season has passed the halfway mark. The Mexican stop brought the magical head-to-logo waves to the iconic Punta San Carlos point break.

Noireaux was sitting in fourth place in the overall rankings with 10000 points. A victory would mean doubling the score and climbing up the leaderboard.

The semifinal had Levi Siver, Kevin Pritchard, Bernd Roediger and Morgan Noireaux in the line-up. The French windsurfer and Pritchard would make the final. Noireaux picked the best waves and claimed the Quatro Desert Showdown 2014.

The Women's division was run in strong wind conditions. Fiona Wylde, Sarah Hauser, Katie McAnena and Ingrid Larouche had a fierce wave sailing battle in the final, but Wylde managed to taste her maiden victory.

The next stop on the American Windsurfing Tour 2014 is the Hatteras Wave Jam, to be sailed on the coast of North Carolina between 15th-20th September.
