Apparently this is is a new 24-hours distance record for a windsurfer set by Dennis Klaaijsen, who sailed 728 km./452 miles (although this has to go through a GPS doppler filter and is likely to settle at around 700 km.) at Grevelingenmeer, Netherlands.
Klaaijsen also held the previous record at 613.8 km. in 2013 and will, once more, cross the North Sea in 2014 from Lowestoft (U.K.) to Ijmuiden, Netherlands.
