The Channels Changin………..

Wells channel is, to me, one of the best Winter training grounds anywhere in the Uk or abroad. Its deep enough for fins to be safe yet shallow enough to be able to be safely sailed in the depths of winter without wetting your hands too much.

Well, the channel is a changin!! – As you can see the route out to ‘The back’ has moved westward and made the channel much easier to sail the full length. I tried this on the windy day listed on the last post here and it was fine. This will make for some much better a longer reaches when sailing the channel at Low tide………. excellent – roll on summer for some blistful blasts!!
