Jo Wilson Coaching @ NWF 5-7 Sept 2014

In the ‘simplicity of kitesurfing’ Jo will take you through a step by step guide of how to set up for learning a new trick. No matter what trick you are working on there is always a process of psyching yourself up, preparing yourself physically and then committing to going for the trick. There is no getting a way from that fact however with the ‘simplicity of kitesurfing’ Jo aims to make this a more methodical and enjoyable process that reduces the number of things you have to remember when going for the trick itself. Whether you are learning to pop, raley, rotate or throw a dark slide the goal is to make learning these tricks simpler & easier and ultimately limiting the crashes involved. Come to this interactive land based coaching clinic to help you feel prepared and motivated to land the tricks you have always dreamed of.!

In ‘conquering rotations’ Jo will take you through a step by step guide in learning how to rotate. Back rolls are often the first trick you learn after jumping and soon after this you need to nail the front roll. Both tricks can seem quite alien, but with Jo’s step by step interactive land based training you will be ready to rock out the rotations when you next hit the water.!

Principles of pop, learning to go higher & introducing grabs is a land based clinic all about mastering the basics. The infamous, yet often illusive technique of popping is the key to mastering all tricks on the water. Its the board skill you need to get yourself air bound. Popping is something that you can always improve so whether you are in your early stages of kitesurfing or a seasoned pro a better pop will always help you to achieve that next trick on your hit list. Once you can pop the sky is your limit so this clinic will also cover how to jump higher and add your own grab to give kitesurfing your individual style.
