120,000 visitors enjoyed the exciting races at the IFCA Slalom World Cup and Volvo Surf Cup on Sylt. With more than 90 starters from 17 nations, a new record was set.

Fanatic´s Vincent Langer (GER-1) managed the feat and secured the world title at the World Cup in his own country. The reigning German champions dominated one race after the other  and secures the IFCA Windsurfing World Championship title in 2015 in the discipline Slalom. Fanatic youngster Nico Prien finished 10th, great job here too! In the women’sfield, the second place went to Fanatic girl María Andrés – so we have a Vice-World Champ here too!

Vincent after the race: “I am stoked! I am the Slalom World Champion!“ smiles the fresh title holder to continue “Last year I was third. The year before Vice-World Champion. Now, in the third atmet it has finally worked out. I am even more proud to achieve this success in my home country. This is the maximum!“

On the final day of the Volvo Surf Cup Sylt the storm made a waveriding contest possible as well. It was Klaas Voget (G-4) who showed the crowds the highest loops and most spectacularwaverides – Klaas dominated the Double and finished 1st before Leon Jamaer!

Well done to all!
