Maui Race Series 2017:

“It was a perfect racing day on Maui for the first race of the series. As usual the winds were a bit lighter in the morning but increased throughout the day, and we had some really good racing.

My gybes and board speed was good in most of the races. Therefore I managed to win 6 out of the 8 races we had. My quiver of choice was the NeilPryde Evo9 7.8 and my JP Slalom 71 all day long – the key for my performance.

I was pretty happy with the way it ended up, especially as this was an excellent training for Fuerteventura!”
