Vējš par spīti labvēlīgajai prognozei zaudēja savu jaudu jau diezgan ātri, plkst. 11 no rīta cilvēki vairs nebija ieinteresēti burāt un tādi kā Krišjānis Tūtāns un Māris Minkevics savu dienu tajā laikā jau beidza. No kopā pavadītajām 3 stundām filmējot, esmu salicis gandrīz visus kadrus filmā.

Wind in spite of the favorable forecast lost its power for quite fast. At 11 o'clock in the morning, people were no longer interested in surfing and such as Krisjanis Tutans and Maris Minkevics their day at the time already finished. Of the total spent 3 hours filming, I have assembled almost all the footage in the film.

When I read my first Windsurf magazine there was a shot of Ross mid back loop on an old blue board and yellow Gaastra sail beautifully shot from the water by John Carter. There was this stunning steep backdrop and I remember not being able to work out in my head how you could be jumping so close to a cliff and that England even had places like this. It was basically where it all started for me. That picture was cut out and stayed on my bedroom wall for years.

A couple of days ago I went over as a foot passenger on the hover craft from my home town Portsmouth with one board bag, a tripod and my camera stuff to score a day at Niton. I filmed for 2 hours with one battery then went for a sail. The conditions aren't exactly classic Niton and was a bit onshore, but nevertheless I like the clip and is one that's a bit special to me.

28th October was held in Latvian wave regatta at Akmensrags. I shot a short film about the event. Video includes documentary scenes. For filming I spend 2 days and for editing about 70 hours witch I spent in 2 days as well.
