Day 5 of the Defi Wind, Japan and the first day for the superstars to shine. Main challenge of the day to get all sailors to race around the big Island to the north of Miyako-jina. The conditions meant this turned into half the fleet opting for a traditional slalom fin setup and the other half on foils. Day 4 and finally action for the Defi Wind Japan edition. Only one official Defi race with Alexandre Cousin taking the victory. The day did allow for several fun races with all types racing round the marathon slalom course. Current Slalom World Champ Pierre Mortefon dominated and showed he is still at the top of his game!!
