An der Wakeboard Seilbahn sahen die Zuschauer Action und Manöver die sonst nur bei viel Wind auf dem Wasser möglich sind. Der gebürtige Duisburger Niclas Nebelung wurde seiner Favoritenrolle gerecht und sicherte sich mit einer dreifachen Rotation den Sieg vor Valentin Böckler und Jannes Thomsen. Am Beckenrand des 65 Meter langen Indoor Pools reihten sich mehrere hundert Zuschauer um die Freestyler anzufeuern. Das Tow-In Event ermöglichte es den Zuschauern außergewöhnliche Windsurfmanöver unter dem Hallendach zu erleben. Alle fünf Fahrer zeigten Manöver die scheinbar einige Regeln der Physik außer Kraft setzen. Die boot Düsseldorf geht noch bis kommenden Sonntag, den 27.01.2019.
