Am gestrigen Freitag konnten wir ein spektakuläres Dithmarscher Towin Event vor einem vollen Publikum am Strand des Mercedes-Benz Surffestival 2018 durchführen. Nachdem am Mittag die Qualifikationsläufe seitliche des Eventgeländes durchgezogen wurden sind, haben sich Foivos Tsoupras, Niclas Nebelung, Tim Karsten und Anton Munz ins Finale ziehen lassen? Um 17Uhr wurde das Finale am Hauptstrand des Festival Geländes über die Bühne gebracht. Hierbei konnte Foivos Tsoupras, den wohl ersten Skopu in deutscher Towin Geschichte erzielen. Niclas Nebelung sicherte sich knapp hinter Foivos den zweiten Platz mit einem AirFunnel Funnel. Anton Munz kam auf Platz 3 mit einem Airfunnel Funnel, Platz 4 ging an Tim Karsten, der einen Shaka im Towin zeigen konnte. Ein erfolgreicher Tag ging zu Ende. Am Abend fand dann noch die German Freestyle Battle Party statt bei der DJ Kev das Haus ordentlich einheizte. Für Sonntag sieht der Wind weiterhin gut aus, um einen Start der Dingle Elimination zu starten.
