The Waterstart- Windsurfing

This move is learnt at a variety of different times for different people, the video is broken down into two areas looking at the rig recovery and getting on the board. The Beachstart is a also a great move to practise and see the clew first start video for an extra challenge.
Whilst much time is devoted at this level to the gybe and it's variation the tack is the transition that you need and will give you confidence to get on smaller boards and go out in stronger winds. When done well the tack can also look impressive as well.

The Heli Tack (helicopter tack) is a great early freestyle move to learn with good practical purpose. It not only helps improve normal tacking but the foot change and rig flip are great practise for gybing. The move is also great way of turning around on small boards or on choppy water.
