Remembering Fallen Comrades……

Its been two years since my very good friend and windsurfing companion Paul perry died of cancer and three years since Rob Mare, another fellow windsurfer from Norfolk also sadly died. These two guys were fondly lover by all who sailed with them and it was a massive shock to me when they passed away – so much so I took a look at my own life and changed a number of things……… well basically I retired at 46!.

It just brings home once again how precious life is and how many of us get wrapped up in the little things in life and start to forget (and appreciate) what we have and how lucky we are. For those of you who know Pauls wife Michelle I spoke to her on Sunday and she is well and beginning to see through the darkness of grief and remember the goods times she shared with Paul. She passes on her best wishes to all who know her.

In memory of two great warriors of the local windsurf scene and people I will never forget for sure…….. Our thoughts are with their families at this time of year.
