The combined brainchild of Mark Matthews and Danny Thomas, this Easter Sunday will see the inaugural Easter Bunny Run, marking the start of the season for 2016. All the elements are fusing together perfectly – Easter Sunday … clocks changing … and a great forecast. What more of an excuse do you need for a bit of a get together? Mark suggested the idea of a sail-away, a sort of giant slalom to get everyone involved … and Danny fancied an excuse to buy lots of Easter eggs and orchestrate a waterborne hunt. A light wind forecast and the use of SUPs would probably facilitate a hunt, but I’m sure there will be a few chocolate eggs to win during the giant slalom racing!

The event will have a £10.00 entry fee and all money raised will go towards the local charity The Will Mackaness Trust. Rescue boats and support boats will be on hand at all times and the event will start from the centre, using the waters within the harbour. First giant slalom start will be at around 11am on Easter Sunday. All very welcome to come along and get involved.
