A film about young Julian Wiemar and his friends traveling around the world to do what they love, to be on the water. „The Entrance to go on the water is always free, no matter where and when. Windsurfing makes us happy, so we found the entrance to happiness, and it is for free. This is the best thing that happened to me in my life. Of course there are travel/gear costs etc, but in contrast to many other sports it doesn’t cost anything to enter our playground, the ocean. What I did since the middle of last year is what I always wanted to do - windsurfing and traveling around the world with my friends without any competition pressure. Even my broken hand and some torn ligaments couldn’t stop me from having fun. Thank you very much to all my family, friends and sponsors to make that dream come true and thanks to Valentin for capturing it on film. Valentin broke his foot on the very first trip of the journey, in Brazil, but much worse than my injuries. He couldn’t windsurf for more than half a year, so we decided that he would keep on traveling but using his camera instead of his windsurf equipment, so he followed us to different spots in Brazil, South Africa, Canary Islands and to Norway to film my dream year. On that journey we realized how much fun filming actually is and we started to get more and more into it. Valentin constantly upgraded his camera equipment and his skills and we are proud to show you the outcome of our first bigger film project. TRUE WIND is a windsurf and art project series where freestyle windsurf pro Max Matissek aims to make his abstract windsurfing fantasies and imaginations a reality. He chooses extraordinary locations to windsurf in, the image gets photographed and put on canvas for him to finally paint on the chosen main shot. The result is a mixed media piece of art. The JP-Australia Team on Maui for the annual JP photo shoot: Morgan Noireaux HI-101 won the only down-the-line PWA event with this board last year - the Aloha Classic. He did it twice - 2014 and 2015! Together with his team mates Jason Polakow KA-1111, Robby Swift K-89, Antoine Martin F-193 and Leon Jamaer G-208, he carves up big Ho'okipa waves.

Description

The last day of the Slalom competition in sotavento saw the first port tack start in the history of the event with a five gibe course. A great final elimination of the event with winds up to 40 knots.

The Thruster Quad is the all-rounder in the JP wave range, designed to work in all conditions, making the most of your precious wave sailing time. It is wavier than all its predecessors, more fun to ride and the most-used board of the JP team riders on the PWA tour. Robby Swift K-89, Jules Denel FRA-41 and Leon Jamaer G-208 enjoy them on the water.

Only one elimination on the second to last day of the Fuerteventura Slalom event. After waiting for the conditions to improve, Matteo Iachino took the only bullet of the day with an amazing performance in the final.

Fueteventura continues to deliver fantastic conditions for the slalom fleet. Enjoy the highlights of two full eliminations with more great action with Antoine and Williams winning one elimination each.

More carnage ensued on the second day of racing with winds once gain over 40 knots testing the elite of the slalom world to their limits. 3 eliminations - 3 different courses - and plenty of crashes!
