In diesem Jahr gab es ein stürmisches Revival der Supremesurf Big Days in neu Mukran auf Rügen. Jeder einzelne der Rider des bisher größten Starterfeldes der Big Days (48 Fahrer) hatte eine Menge Doppelloops und radikale Wellenritte im Gepäck.

Auch Fahrer aus Polen, Dänemark und den Niederlanden waren neben der deutschen Fraktion am Start und tobten sich in den bis zu 3m hohen Wellen aus. Der böige Nordostwind entlockte auch den Topfahrern wie Leon Jamaer, Klaas Voget, Lars Gobisch und Martin Ten Hoeve radikalen Sprünge und Wellenritte mit Takas, Wave 360ern und hohen Backside Aerials.

Im Halbfinale standen sich Klaas Voget gegen Local Oscar Hollmann und Kenneth Danielsen gegen PWA Hot Shot Leon Jamaer gegenüber. Klaas Voget fuhr den Heat gegen Big Days Urgestein Oscar Hollmann sicher nach Hause. Mit einem einhändigen Backloop und flüssigen Takas auf den Ostseewellen ließ er Oscar keine Chance. Wesentlich knapper viel das Semifinale von Leon Jamaer und Kenneth Danielsen aus. Beide Fahrer schraubten sich zu extrem vertweakten Pushloops in den Luftraum von Neu Mukran und landeten sicher ihre Backloops. Letztlich entschied die bessere Wave Selection des Dänen den spektakulären Heat.

Over the last months, my harddrive got filled up with a lot bunch of video clip from different locations.Basically this 3 minutes clip is a summary of my surf trips in Maui, Brazil and Tenerife... I specially like the slow motion watershots from Kevin Prichard and Basti Dörr. Thanks for the efforts.
