Windguru uses the same mathematical modelling as metcheck.

I threw in a mention of the article on him in last month's Boards so that might have done the trick :)

Windguru shows the GFS and MM5 models, but if you don't pay a subscription the MM5 forecasts are 12 hours delayed. Not sure it will be worth the £10 a year though.

I have had Brogborough on windguru for over a year. All you do is add your own spot to the "custom" section. You need to get the coordinates from your GPS unit. In fact you could put anywhere on, your own house or favourite beach location. There is also a link to google earth so that guru spots and your own spots become visible on the satelite view.

With regard to the subscription, yes it is expensive for the year but I use the three month option and only join for the summer months.
