The Tour Jeri Windsurfing took place between November 28th and 29th in Jericoacoara, Brazil, one of the best windsurf spots in the world. Jeri is one of the favorite location for many pro windsurfers who come here to train and escape the cold temperatures of the winter months. The competition attracted the best local riders and a couple of international stars who've raised the level a bit higher: double forwards, pushloops and takas were in order.

While Raimondo Gasperini won the Master title and the Overall 9th position, Sarah-Quita Offringa who's been practicing in the waves grabbed first place in the Women category, finishing ahead of Arianne Aukes and Maaike Huvermann! The Overall was won by the very talented local Edvan Souza followed by Ian Moor. Also worth mentioning, Colin "Whippy" Dixon entered the competition at the last minute and grabbed a 21st place.

We had excellent conditions on the first day of competition with waves up to 2 meters high and winds reaching 25 knots. On the second day, the wind picked up to 35 knots and as a result, the waves were a bit flattened. Raimondo Gasperini was on his 2014 Quad 77, his 2014 Kode Wave 87 and Severne Blade 4.7m² and 4.2m² while Sarah Quita rode the Kode Wave 87 and the Nuevo 73 with her Gaastra 4.4m².

On top of that, Sarah-Quita joined Guy Cribb and the INtuition clinic for a massive downwinder that took most of the day in 30 knots of wind on wild choppy open water. Sarah-Quita was busting out konos and shakas for much of the journey but completed the voyage with the guests just before sunset. She also joined them at a private beach away from all the crowds in Jeri, and upon winning the Brazilian Championships, she welcomed Tim from UK on stage to celebrate his 40th birthday...!
Fun times in Jeri!
