On the Water:

The Futura is very accessible: you immediately find the right sailing position. This accessibility is also shown by its behavior which is less physical; it's fast without requiring too much effort or pressure.

"La Futura est très facile d'accès: on trouve tout de suite la bonne position. Une sensation confirmée par un comportement moins physique; on a moins besoin de pousser pour aller vite."

The choppier the water, the better this board feels thanks to a great general balance and a higher position on the water. However, it remains under control in strong winds.

"Plus le plan d'eau est chahuté, plus on on se sent bien grâce à un bon équilibre général et une navigation haute sur le plan d'eau, ce qui n'empêche pas de contrôler loin."

The more downwind you go, the faster it goes and accelerates, to the point where it becomes extremely close to a full-on slalom board. Another good we liked was its ability to jibe tight without too much rail pressure and its jibe exit.

In terms of wind range, the Futura does very well thanks to its early planing and control in high-winds. You can fit anything on it from 6.2m² to 8.0m² without any issues.

Light under the feet, extremely lively, the Futura is accessible and not too demanding physically compared to a slalom board. It's a sure bet in this freerace category thanks to an amazing balance between easiness and performance.
