Fast Week

Some weeks seem to pass quicker than others, this one felt like a real fast week. I have to thank my new found interest in Slalom for the early starts, a few of us went to Point Clear at 6:30am to catch the tide, we’d expected it to be big sail weather not the powered 7.8m that greeted us. Three hours later and that wind blip had gone and we headed to normal work, though the want still hadn’t left me.

I guess the Slalom bug has got a real hold of me, I don’t normally windsurf on my own or use big sails yet I couldn’t resist another session, rigged two sails and was still hopping the wind would drop. Now that’s a new experience, wanting the wind to drop, what I really wanted was to try the Firewing 9.4 on the X-Fire 129.

Not all the pix are from windsurfing from home as Saturday turned out to be a crazy day. I was at Rutland Water with the demo gear for 7:30am, at my Nephews’ house party for 3pm before heading down for Benj Ardern’s 18th birthday party.
