Every year I love it when chilly early spring recedes and the warmer months return. But so often this means little wind and small waves. Not so this May.
As I am typing I can hear the wind roaring outside of my studio, but today I'm just too exhausted to sail again.
I've had four days of incredible conditions, first of all in S wales at one of my favourite breaks, and then at Kimmeridge, where it was even windier and some excellent waves to match.

Here is the scene at Kimmeridge on Sunday - a busy rigging area with clean waves pushing into the bay throughout the day.

I had four sessions finally coming off the water at six o'clock with the sun still high and landscape looking even more verdant in the bright spring sunshine.

For me it was a day of jumping, whilst on Saturday it was nearly too windy to do anything but go straight up into the air.
