Wiley’s Aloha Classic!

All forecasts showed the same for yesterday, lack of wind, so the water of Ho’okipa started of being a crowded spot with surfers claiming the waves. But we must say that the conditions surprised and served some light wind, enough to kick off the youth competition.

The crowd was amazed to see the youngest competitor Wiley Daniel take down one wave after the other. With a cool attitude and no nervousness in sight, Wiley got in the water with his 2.6 KS3, ready to show of his skills. For his second heat against Naveen Hanig he placed first, and came in with a great smile. The two youth sailors were enjoying having Ho’okipa all to them selves, and used their time to the fullest to show all the pro’s how they were able to rip the waves.
