Quayside Windsurfers Attend Lifestyles……

We at Quayside Windsurfers/ Severneshop like to support local events put on for local watersports enthusiasts. Lifestyles is held at Hunstanton and hosts sports such as Windsurfing, Kitesurfing, BMX and skateboarding. We attended with a scaled down version of the grand stand we took to the NWF earlier in September. We also were hosting a ‘Come and Try’ day for our sponsors giving their staff the chance to try windsurfing and paddleboarding.

The weather didn’t really play its part  on the Friday and Saturday but kicked in on the Sunday allowing us to host some informal racing with 15 racers. The event as a whole went well although I can’t deny the constant stream of oober heavy metal bands swearing on stage wore me down…… I getting old then…

We had over 10 people attend our sponsors try windsurfing sessions which they really enjoyed and got wet…

So after chatting with Nikki (The guv’ner) we’ve decided for 2015 we will host our own Demo weekend to held either at Hunny or Wells depending on the forecast and wind direction. We will then head to a local pub for evening drinks and food etc.Keep watching this space for what we gonna do for 2015.
