We have been seeing a few more single fins in Hawaii these past weeks so the timing seems good to release our popular EPICwave single fin in our new [FLX] construction to further increase the tuning options available.

Being at the forefront of the multi-fin revolution didn’t stop us developing single fins, in fact Black Project rider, windsurfing legend and board builder Mark Angulo was the inspiration behind the original EPICwave fin, he wanted more speed and grip on the bottom turn to give him increased control and projection. Single fins are more efficient in terms of area than multii-fin setups and hence have less drag, less drag means more speed. The new [FLX] construction has been very popular with smaller riders and for smaller waves. The extra flex helps with added control and the [FLX] fins are 20% lighter than the G10 versions.
