The Chris Benz Lüderitz World Record Chase 2014 has been officially opened by the Minister of Youth, National Sport and Culture and the Mayor of Lüderitz  in the Nest Hotel Conference Room.

An “after ceremony” has been organized with “Hunter” in the new Crayfish Bar & Lounge of the Nest Hotel. We could already feel a good atmosphere between the 17 different nationalities who take part in the competition this year.

Some of the riders are still on their way to Lüderitz.

Tomorrow the skipper meeting is at 12am.

We will start to race from Tuesday. The conditions looks really good from there.

Competitors will set up their equipment and  warm up from tomorrow.

Best of luck for each of them to break new records and push the limits.
