It's finally my favorite time of the year again where I pack up my board bags and head down to South Africa to escape the European winter. I've been in South Africa for a month now and I'm staying until end of March so I still have a few months left. The first month been quite good and I already got a lot of sailing so life couldn't be better.

I flew down here with my girlfriend and Ross Williams. Two days later Jamie Hancock and his girlfriend came down and joined us in the house we are all sharing. Danish guys Kurosh Kiani and Christoffer Friis also joined us during the last few weeks, so the house is pretty full now.

Since arriving, we have been going to the gym almost every morning and then windsurfing in the afternoon, so there haven't been much vacation about it. Sailing with Ross and Jamie has really helped to push my level as both of them are really talented world class sailors, and the competition between us on the water helps to push us all forward.
