José Romero Santana enjoyed the windy summer months at his home spot Pozo Izquiero on Gran Canaria. He travelled once to Tenerife to compete in the PWA Wave Worldcup, but for the rest of the summer, he stayed at home and when the wind was off, he went for a surfing session, snorkeling or some fitness training.
