2015 Formula Windsurfing Youth Worlds

The world championship in Lagos Portugal has been a super great event with strong winds and lots of races. Me and my brother came two days before the event to get our new Mauisails TR-XI formula sails trimmed.

I have been racing with the 10,0 and 11,0 TR-XI for the hole event and I must say, I love the new sails. They are machines on the upwind and got great speed on the downwind. We did 11 races in 4 days and all races was in 15-25 knots of wind.

I was in the front group of 4 sailors most of the time, but I did way to many mistakes in my racing to really go to the front of the race. It was so close racing and super fast racing course of the strong winds so if you made small mistake, you would get overtaken so fast by other races. But all in all I am really happy with my performance (4th place overall) and I am looking forward to next events this year.
