Teahupoo on Tahiti, the monster wave, got huge swell during July 2015. A few surfers, even experienced locals, made it out in 10feet + high monsters, had huge tube rides, but some crashed extremely hard. Italian Niccolo Porcella, one of the “guest riders” luckily survived one of the monster crashes without any serious physical damage. He got sucked up a huge barrel for a few meters before he got smashed down again. It’s said it was probably one of the hardest crashes at Teahupoo in 2015 so far. Timothée Pruvost edited an outstanding clip about the huge conditions at Teahupoo.
