Jake Jensen had a great weekend of racing with a 1st in the Sprints, 2nd in the BOP and 3rd in the Long Distance race. He also raised the most money in the paddler auction where athletes were auctioned off to be part of a team in a charity race. Channel 7 paid $1000 to have Jake in their team. Great to see him starting off the season strong!

The Forsters event took place from February 6th till 7th around the Forster island and was a great success which is mainly  due to the involvement of the competitors –  200 plus over the whole weekend! Great conditions for the BOP, Sprints and Distance race saw large competitor numbers and a very hot field of elite paddlers make the trip to the sunny sea side town.

Thxs to our team from Fanatic SUP Australia for doing a great job displaying the brand at the event site and also well done to Aussie riders Chris Cross and John Engel for performing well in the competition!
