Its easy to spend the days between Christmas and New year sitting around at home eating our way through the fridge, so we’ve chosen to head for our Capital for a couple of days. OK, so we probably eat as much but at least we’re walking it off. Sometimes its hard to gauge if the kids appreciate it or not but that question was answered very positively earlier this year when Aaron stayed in London with a few of his friends.

I expected a phone call part way through his stay with “how do we get…” but when the call came through it started with “Dad, got to thank you and mum for our trips into town” turns out he’s became the tour guide for his group, most new nothing of London and without his guidance they would have left none the wiser or still be there trying to find there way home. It’s good to know we did something write.
