We are thrilled to announce that 2015 PWA Freestyle World Champion Dieter Van der Eyken has joined the Black Project Windsurf team with immediate effect. We had been talking for some time but it during his visit to Maui for the recent PWA Aloha Classic (won by his new Black Project team mate Morgan Noireaux) that it became clear that there was clear synergy and working together would be mutually beneficial. We immediately went to work to design the next generation freestyle fins. Dieter, Tom and Chris have already been sketching out initial ideas as we embark on this new challenge.

“I am very happy to join forces with Black Project Fins for the upcoming seasons. After being in contact with Chris and Tom for over  a year now we finally got to meet in Maui during the PWA Aloha Classic. This trip gave us the opportunity to put all the pieces of the puzzle together. Together with Black Project I will develop my new signature freestyle fin(s), which will be designed to help all freestyle riders achieve their goals. With the knowledge of Tom working on the fin designs, Chris working on the marketing and my experience in freestyle we will produce my new weapons for next year. I am really pleaded to be working alongside a team filled with so much talent including 2 x PWA Aloha Classic Champion Morgan Noireaux and 4 x AWT Champion Ingrid Larouche! The first of many prototypes have already been produced and if all goes to plan then Dieter will be riding his signature fin(s) during the 2017 photoshoots in time for the start of the PWA season. The first fins will be likely available by late Spring / Early Summer in limited numbers.
