Kiran Badloe claims another victory on the Hyperglide sails winning the famous round of Texel.

This is what he had to say about the event and his win:

image “ On the 16th of June the annual round of Texel race took place in the Netherlands.. It's a long distance race around the most famous wadden island of the Netherlands, Texel. With light winds and plenty of reaching downwind and upwind to get around the island foiling was definatly the way to go. My setup for this race was the Severne Hyperglide 9.0 and the starboard race foil. At the start of the race we only had 8 knots but during the end it build up towards a good 17 knots. Half way around the island we all had a bit of a challenge as the water depth dropped to just 82 cm deep which meant we needed to do a bit of “wad lopen”, a typical dutch sandbank walk. After a long 85 km race that took me 2 hours and 42 minutes I was happy to finish as first on this classic long standing Dutch event. The gear worked perfect and I’m more than happy to take home the big trophy for the first time during this event! “
