“The second tour stop of the German Multivan Windsurfcup (‘DWC’) was held on the Baltic Sea in a town called Grömitz.Compared to the exhausting first event on Sylt it was much more relaxed here and I had to give my best only on one day. This may sound easy but when you have to sail all races on one day you have to remain totally focused and perform!It started with two foil eliminations in pretty strong winds and I could prove that I’m not only sailing well in light winds but also when powered by winning both races with a clear lead!Afterwards, a slalom elimination was started but as the wind steadily decreased we only managed to go up to the semi-final. But we got a result which was based on the rankings in the earlier eliminations where I finished first, too!With first places in both disciplines I also took the overall event victory!So long,Nico”
