How good it is to be leaving for foreign parts without a hundredweight of forms and certificates… I am without the stress of thinking that you are bound to have made a mistake and will be sent straight back home! Yes on the clinic front at least, it’s pretty much business as usual.

Coming up a quick update about forthcoming clinics at the end of 22 at the beginning of 23.Donegal Sept 22My 35 day Donegal wave clinics are all reading full. However we do get last minute cancellations so if you are in a position to scramble, email me and I’ll put you on the subs bench.People do complain bitterly to me that the Donegal courses always seem to be full. That is almost entirely down to re-bookings. The last years contestants always get first bite of the cherry – and it seems they like the place!But if you are keen, just contact me expressing your interest and I will put you on the list that he has about three places before they’re advertised, and there’s every chance you’ll get on.NO Mauritius ’22It is with a tear in the eye that I relay the news at Mauritius is not happening this year. Sadly the Le Morne hotel complex is closing for two years to be totally rebuilt. And as a result the club ion Centre has also been forced to temporarily shut down. Sadly there are no other hire centres that can cater for a group so we’ll just have to wait until 2025 for a grand reopening!Oct/Nov in the UKIt’s the windiest time, potentially, in the UK said to make up for the Mauritius loss I will be running a series of spontaneous one and two day courses at both West wittering and the OTC in Portland. Jeri/Gustoso ’23I Aim to return to Jericocoara in early January. There honestly is no better way to overcome the winter blues than to head for the tepid, glassy waves of Brazil where shorts and a T-shirt feel a bit too warm.I’m also looking at a trip to Gustoso slightly further south around the coast of the north coast of Brazil. It’s like a mini Jeri with flat water and waves on a reef. Check the clinic pages for updates.Kerry ’23I already have dates and details plugged in for two more courses in Kerry in May – 8-11 and 15-18.There are a handful of places left on each.Lots of details on the clinic page.
