Junior boys and girls raced today again inside old Russian military submarine harbour in safe location while youth fleets enjoyed yet another windy day at the monument beach here in Liepaja. Results are shaping up but in most classes fight for the medals continue...

Road to success is never easy. For some the biggest obstacle today was the shore-break for other the wind and the race course. But when going gets tough tough get going and those able to sail fast in both light and strong wind and climbing up the leader board. It's not easy but it's fun...

Some events has a slow start, but not here in Liepaja. Organising was running like a swiss clock and all was ready for start at 10 AM. Race committee did not hesitate to abandon the race when wind dropped. 3 races for all fleets in mostly light aid conditions which allowed those who like light air to gain some advantage before strong wind days forecasted in the second half of the week.

Practice makes champions. First step towards winning the race and becoming a champion in windsurfing is getting out from the beach. This may not be an easy task especially for those not use to big shore-break. Windy forecast for the rest of the week means you have to master step one because conditions on Monument beach in Liepaja, Latvia can get hard.
