Whilst there was no wind powered action on Day 2 of the Playa Surf CBbC Hotel Tenerife El Medano Windsurf Grand Slam, there was still plenty of action on and off the water.

Lots of people passed the event site to visit the stalls and vendors and share a drink with friends, whilst on the water we took the opportunity to remember local rider Jan van Herzeele who tragically passed away last week. Riders, friends and family paddled out to celebrate his life in one of the places he loved the most. Rest in Peace Jan.
