From Cape Town to Brouwersdam, 2023 was a year was packed with Freestyle, Foilstyle, Tow-In, and everything in between. The season kicked off in Cape Town with the first-ever Proving Grounds Series, pitting amateurs, pros, and wave sailors against each other. Lennart Neubauer made a huge comeback in Bonaire after 18 months out, while Lake Neusiedl saw Syncro Tow-In action, and some unforgettabe cross-generational battles in both single and double eliminations.

Fehmarn celebrated Germanys thriving freestyle scene, Vieste hosted the first official Foilstyle competition with Yentel Caers dominating, and Geneva delivered a dramatic Tow-In showdown as George Grisley edged out Foivos Tsoupras for the mens European title while Maaike Huvermann claimed the womens crown. The season closed at Brouwersdam with Lennart Neubauer taking his first-ever European Championship, capping off a year of record-breaking moves, comeback stories, and new champions rising to the top.
