Chapuis answered back with clean front and backloops, keeping van der Eyken and Mauch chasing hard. Some chaos mid-heat with Fernandez losing his gear near the sea wall but he made it back safely and held on for the win.

Result: Fernandez & Chapuis advance to the final - the first final in his career for Miguel Chapuis!
