Our summer-pilgrimage to the southernmost Dodecanese fell later this year than in the past. We just caught the Meltemi by its tail before it melted away into golden days of serene September liquid warmth. Left with so many gem-stone memories and a sense of gratitude - for the good company of so many friends, fine weather, splendid meals, no injuries and smooth flights - including an outbound ride in the cockpit jumpseat for my son.

This video was edited courtesy of Adobe, who kindly provided free trial versions of Premiere Pro CC 2014 and Photoshop. Blood, sweat, blasphemy and tears, plus grim pig-headed determination were the only other ingredients needed for the edit. In the end I was very impressed by Adobe's software.
