The Pozo Warm up!
It's that time of the year again. The wave world cup will kick off in Gran Canaria mid-July.
I remember getting to pozo early last year, training on 3,7 and 4,0 but as soon as the contest started the wind just picked up a couple of notches and I ended up sailing only my 3,3 and even 3,0. Pozo is the most challenging event of the year for me, but I love it.
The song "Wicked Winds" by Mazde is a testimony to the madness on the water due to the crazy Pozo wind machine. Going through all this footage reminded me that last year was nothing less than epic.
The level on the water was high and there was such a good and supportive vibe amongst all the ladies competing. I feel extremely happy to be sharing sessions with these power women. I hope that this year will be just as epic end more!
