Kornum wins in Denmark

Here is a report from the event in Denmark – 21-22th June:

21 year old Sebastian Kornum took another overall victory this weekend, by winning a windy, national event in his homeland Denmark.Few weeks ago, he won the Funboard Championship title on Sylt, and last week he won in Norway as well.

Four slalom races got completed in Denmark on the first day in perfect 20-24 knots of wind with clear sunny sky over Denmark. Sebastian ended 2nd in Slalom (after Kasper Juul Larsen) but with three consecutive wins in Formula on the day after, he made a comfortable overall victory.

“I have a very fast setup with my JP boards and EVO6 rigs, and at the event in Denmark I had absolutely no problem winning the Formula races. I point higher upwind and go deeper downwind, and my speed is good too, so it is quite easy to do well in a race. In addition, the gear works in all kinds of conditions, and that is of course a big advantage for a racer” – says Sebastian.

Congratulations, Sebastian!
