Black Project at Wind-NC (North Carolina, USA)

One of the best things about being on the road is meeting up with our dealers. Last year during the AWT Hatteras Wave Jam I met with Andy McKinney who runs Wind-NCin North Carolina. Andy has been so influential in bringing the AWT to the Outer Banks and is obsessed about quality gear and performance. It was therefore fitting that we started working together and we actually designed the new FreeWEED for his customers. A year on and it was great to be able to spend time in the shop with Andy during the past week at the AWT Hatteras Wave Jam where team rider Morgan Noireaux came 2nd (and is now ranked #2 on the Tour as we head into the Aloha Classic). Being able to spend lots of time discussing products, ideas, etc. is such and important part of our business and we thank Andy for all his input. Wind-NC has been selling our fins for a while and will now also be selling our SUP paddles including the all new EPIC Vario 95 Adjustable Carbon which has just been released. Check out their website and get in touch with Andy to discuss our products and windsurfing & paddling on the Outer Banks.

Andy has been so influential with bringing the AWT to Hatteras that it is such a pleasure to be working with him and his shop, they are great ambassadors for windsurfing and that is what we love!

Great to see our paddles on the rack, more will be delivered soon. The sport of Stand up Paddling is growing fast in Hatteras!
