We are always looking to widen, deepen and improve our range of products on offer. Many new products actually initially originate from customer feedback so that we can ensure that we are making what riders need to have fun and excel on the water.

The WeedSpeed has been one of our most popular fins these past couple of years and once we started getting requests for a larger size we jumped at the opportunity. it is always a challenge making new products and each size has to be optimized for the conditions which it is going to be used in. The new WeedSpeed 45 (36.7cm deep) gives riders more low end power and will suit sails in the 7.5 – 9.5m range and boards between 110 and 140ltrs. Tom our fin designer worked hard to ensure that we had the right balance between lift and drag when using bigger sails and boards. The result is a blisteringly fast weed fin which will get your board up and planing faster and give you access to higher top end speeds with exceptional levels of control.

The sizing of the WeedSpeed is a little different to other fins, the rating we give, 25, 28, 31, 34 etc. is based on the equivalent size of upright fin, so the new WeedSpeed 45 would be used at the same time as the Type R 45.
