Hello!

My name is Alexa Escherich, I’m 14 years old and I’m from Munich, Germany.

Every summer, my parents go to Risco del Paso in Fuerteventura for windsurfing and I was always fascinated by their colorful equipment. I used to watch the windsurfers from the beach – even the PWA competitions – hoping that one day I could do the same: Floating fast over the water, jumping and surfing the waves.

When I was 5 years old when my parents asked me if I would like to learn windsurfing. So, they started to teach me. From this moment on I was super happy and fell in love with this beautiful sport.

It is my dream that my biggest passion becomes my profession. Windsurfing became a big part of my life. Freestyle and waveriding are my favorite disciplines – nevertheless I would like to do slalom, too.
